He explains that, more often than not, he has to find a way to provide soccer boots for the players, as many parents fail to see the importance of supporting their children’s sporting needs. Some parents believe that coaches are solely responsible for the kids’ progress and that the coach should never turn a player away, assuming that the club or sponsors will cover everything. This year alone, they’ve reached impressive milestones, including four finals in 2024, and getting titles in the Highlands Park and Wolves tournaments with their Under-11 and Under-12 teams. For him, the real triumph is knowing that they’re learning how to work as a team and become better people, and the trophies are just the cherry on top.

He is working to gain overseas coaching experience and secure a recommendation from a South African team, while holding multiple courses with England’s UEFA.
