As part of its commitment to fostering intercultural dialogue and supporting the younger generation, the World Public Assembly will host the final roundtable and award ceremony of the International Festival of Creativity “Children of the World: Time to be Friends.”
Held from March to August 2025, the Festival brought together children and teenagers aged 5 to 15 from various countries and cultural backgrounds. Its core mission is to promote creativity, uncover young talent, and strengthen bonds of friendship across borders, regardless of nationality, ethnicity, or social status.
The concluding event, which will take place in the format of a round table, will serve both as a celebration of the young participants’ achievements and as a platform for experts to discuss the broader societal importance of such creative initiatives. Key topics will include:
- The role of art in shaping well-rounded, multifaceted personalities
- Art as a foundation for international understanding and cooperation
- The challenges and strategies of preserving cultural heritage in the modern, globalized world
The session will be moderated by Irina Trumpf, Ambassador of the World of the Federation for Universal Peace, founder and director of the Open Hearts Foundation and ANO “Ecoculture,” and laureate of the “Worthy Women of the Fatherland” award. A recognized expert in social and business initiatives, she also leads the working group on the development of the Russian art industries map under the Expert Council of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation.
Speaking about the Festival’s mission, Irina Trumpf emphasized:
“Society needs a creative person—an intellectual individual with distinct talents and personal interests. This is the true potential of any nation. If beauty is destined to save the world, then art and creativity are already changing it. The World Creativity Festival ‘Children of the World: Time to be Friends’ offers powerful opportunities for development, encouraging children to explore, grow, and expand their horizons.”
The Chairman of the Festival jury is Irina Markova-Chagall, artist, poet, public figure, and great-niece of the legendary painter Marc Chagall. Her involvement underscores the Festival’s emphasis on artistic excellence and cultural heritage.
The event is also supported by Maria Lvova-Belova, Presidential Commissioner for Children’s Rights in Russia, who has been invited as a speaker and advocate for international initiatives centered on youth development.
Among the honored guests and key participants expected at the ceremony are:
