Snokuhle Mswane, better known by her stage name Snowlesa, a dynamic force hailing from the humble streets of Ladysmith, KZN. From a young age, Snowlesa exhibited an undeniable passion for modeling and mimicking songs, captivating everyone around her with her bubbly personality. Her journey took a significant turn when she moved to the vibrant city of Johannesburg, the City of Gold, brimming with endless opportunities. Snowlesa’s first breakthrough came when she was crowned Miss Jabulani Mall in Soweto, marking the beginning of her rise. She also earned the title of Sun Baby for the Daily Sun newspaper, gaining recognition across the city.
What truly set Snowlesa apart was when fans on social media began referring to her as a “role model.” At first, she was puzzled—was it because of her striking pictures? But as she reflected, she realized her journey was inspiring others in ways she hadn’t imagined. Her musical career began organically, starting with simple recordings alongside her friend Xowla. Together, they created a few songs, marking the beginning of Snowlesa’s musical path—a journey that would transform her from an aspiring artist into a role model, both on and off the stage.
However, Snowlesa quickly learned that the road to success in music wasn’t easy. Producing a song required significant resources—money for recording, promotion, and securing radio airplay. Breaking into the industry was a challenge, but fate smiled upon her when she met Mr. Malungelo, who helped her get her music on the airwaves and featured on major TV platforms like MTV Base and Trace. After Xowla completed their songs, Snowlesa gained even more recognition, including an interview on SABC News, where she shared her journey as a young artist and influencer, inspiring many along the way.
When asked for advice for those who look up to her, Snowlesa says, “Everything has its own time. Do not rush to reach the end goal. Invest your time, skills, and effort—put in the work. Everyone was born with a gift from God, and no one can take that from you. Believe in yourself, humble yourself, and respect those who will help you get closer to your dreams.”

Snowlesa’s music is gaining significant traction. Her very first song, “Ngangithini,” was well-received, followed by her second track, “Hamba Dali,” featuring Malungelo and Xowla. Her third song also showcased her versatility, as she featured Sithuthukile from Idols SA. Her veasatility has allowed her to also work as a video vixen, Snowlesa has also appeared in music videos for some of South Africa’s biggest names, including Casper Nyovest, Ricky Rick, Mafikizolo, DJ Tira, and Xowla. With fans calling her a role model, she works tirelessly to make them proud and inspire others to take action toward their own dreams.
Her journey as a brand influencer has skyrocketed, with over 320,000 followers on TikTok, and she’s built strong partnerships with renowned brands like Ponds, Hooch Howler SA, Bug Alcoholic Shooter, Avon, Gyna Guard, and Steri Stumpie. However, her rise as a brand influencer hasn’t been as smooth as it may seem. Snowlesa has often taken the initiative by personally reaching out to brands, writing emails to introduce herself and express why she believes she’d be a great fit. Her growing social media presence has attracted the attention of numerous brands eager to collaborate, marking a significant highlight in her career.
As she looks toward the future, Snowlesa shares her aspirations: “I wish to grow my musical career and expand as a brand influencer. One day, I see myself on a billboard.”
